Join us at Westbourne Music for an unforgettable afternoon with Matthew James Higham, Section Principal Flute of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

A former student of The Purcell School for Young Musicians, Matthew is an award-winning flautist who has performed as a soloist at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and St Martin-in-the-Fields. After further studies in Cologne and Frankfurt, he held a position with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony before joining the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. Alongside his orchestral career, he is a member of the Bayreuth Festival Orchestra, a tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and regularly appears as a guest with leading orchestras across Europe.
