Professor Allan Neave is one of Scotland’s leading classical guitarists, renowned for his distinguished international performing career. A graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and the Royal Northern College of Music, he has appeared at major festivals and concert venues worldwide, collaborating with composers and musicians including Nikita Koshkin, Hans Werner Henze and Gordon McPherson.

Career highlights include performances of Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, international tours across Australia, Peru and the Far East, and recordings ranging from contemporary concertos to film soundtracks. Artistic Director of the Dundee International Guitar Festival since its founding, Allan received the Scotland on Sunday Glenfiddich ® Spirit of Scotland Award for Music in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Scottish musical life.
