Join us for a captivating lunchtime recital with award-winning Scottish-Indian  classical guitarist Samrat Majumder. A rising star on the international stage, Samrat is a 2025 Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) artist and joint YCAT–Concert Artists Guild (USA) appointment. He has studied at leading institutions across Europe and the US, including the Peabody Institute, Robert Schumann Hochschule, and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. His artistry has earned him top prizes at major guitar competitions in France, Germany, Liechtenstein, and beyond. Alongside his performance career, Samrat co-founded the Classical Guitar Reach Foundation of India to promote guitar education across the subcontinent. Expect an expressive and virtuosic programme from a guitarist hailed for both technical brilliance and deep musical sensitivity.
