Caroline Roxburgh is a Chartered Accountant and was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP until 2016. She has over 30 years’ business experience advising boards in a range of industry sectors, on business strategy, risk management, governance, financial reporting and internal control. Her experience covers developing businesses to large listed companies in the UK and internationally and includes organisations in the culture, arts and charity sectors.
Caroline was a member of PwC UK’s Supervisory Board (2012-2016), the governance body of PwC UK’s Partnership, where she was a member of the audit and risk committee, strategy and governance committee and was a member of PwC UK’s Risk Council.
Caroline is a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Montanaro European Smaller Companies Trust plc,
Edinburgh International Festival and a publicly appointed member of the Board of Directors and Chair, Audit and Risk Committee of
VisitScotland. She is also a non-executive director of Edinburgh Worldwide Investment Trust plc.
