Originally from Thurso, Helen trained on the RCS BA Acting course from 2006-2009 and has been working as an actor in Scotland ever since. Theatre credits include “Miss Julie” – Perth Theatre, “The Belle’s Stratagem” – Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, “Jury Play”-  Gridiron/Traverse Theatre, “Lanark” – Citizens Theatre Glasgow . Helen has appeared in numerous “A Play, a Pie and a Pint” productions at Oran Mor and has toured all over Scotland with various shows.

TV credits include Rab C Nesbitt and DCI Banks .

Helen has recorded numerous radio plays for BBC Radio 4 including Mclevy , 44 Scotland Street and Weir of Hermiston and works regularly in voice over, ADR and Dubbing.

Helen has been a member of the BA Acting audition panel since 2014.

As Lecturer in Professional Practise Helen is responsible for module co-ordination and delivery of all aspects of Professional Practice on the BA Acting Programme. Using her continued experience from working as an actor in the Industry she ensures all elements of Professional Practise taught on the BA Acting Programme are relevant, current and in line with on-going developments.
