JC Marshall is a playwright based in Glasgow. She has written for many theatres, both in the UK and internationally, including The Tron (Plume), The West Yorkshire Playhouse (The Worm Collector, Tender Dearly, Non Contact Time), and Òran  Mór (Moby Dick). Internationally, her work has played in Berlin and The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco (A Stone’s Throw). She has written for companies such as Visible Fictions (The Hunted) and Slung Low (for Helium, where she won the Oxford Samuel Beckett Award). She writes plays for adults and for young people. She has been working on two plays: Swash  (a swashbuckling play), and Constitution, about what it might be like to create a constitution for an independent nation.
