Judith Howarth studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama with PatriciaMcMahon, before joining The Royal Opera as a Principal at the age of twenty one. During nineseasons there roles included;

She has performed StraussFour Last Songs in Vienna with Sir Simon Rattle and performed world-wide with leadingconductors including Solti, Sinopoli, Sir Charles Mckerras, Geoffrey Tate, John Elliot Gardner,Zubin Mehta, Haitink, Ozawa, Pretre & Sir Edward Downes to name but a few.
