John Kenny’s career is unusually varied: over the past 25 years he has given recitals and broadcast as a soloist in over 50 nations, and is internationally recognised as a leading interpreter of contemporary music. Since 1983 he has been musical director of the TNT Music Theatre Co, now based in Munich, producing shows which tour to huge audiences on every continent. He also performs early music and is the first person for 2000 to play the great Celtic war horn known as the carnyx, reconstructed by the National Museum of Scotland. He is also extremely active as a composer, for the recital hall, film, and theatre.
