Paul Mitchellhasbeen Kit Coordinatorwiththe Royal Conservatoire of Scotlandsince April 2014. Paul gained an HNC in Television Operations and Production before going on to become a Camera Assistant for BBC’s River City, he is fully trained in camera operations both in the studio and on the backlot. He also often worked on live programmes such as Premier League Football, The Saturday Show and T in the Park. Paul moved on to work as a Booking Coordinator, later being promoted to Bookings Manager at Hammerhead Television Facilities which was acquired by Procam facilities in September 2013.
As Kit Coordinator Paul is responsible for all kit bookings for staff and students for any upcoming shoots. He also maintains allequipment to ensure that it is to the exacting high standards that are expected of RCS. Paul is also a mentor for DFTV students and is usually present at shoots to offer support and guidance.
Paul works closely with the Junior Conservatoire of Screen and supports the students throughout the yearas well as an active member of the RCS Health and Safety committee.
