The recognition follows hot on the heels of the QS World University Rankings in March this year, which placed the Royal Conservatoire at number three globally for performing arts education, alongside New York’s Juilliard School (first) and the Royal College of Music in London (second).

Professor Jeffrey Sharkey, Principal of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, said: “For RCS to be recognised as the number one institution for performing arts education in the UK is testament to this wonderful community of students and staff and their continued energy and passion for the arts throughout what has undoubtedly been a challenging time. I want to congratulate and thank our community of staff and students for their great work this year.”

The Complete University Guide attracts over ten million visitors each year.
