Bojana is an artist and researcher working at the intersection of performance, participation and migrant rights. Her performances, installations, texts, and non-denominational works have appeared in physical and digital spaces in the UK, Serbia, and internationally, including in Tate Modern (London), Center for Art on Migration Politics (Copenhagen), and in collaboration with Home Live Art (Hastings) and Performing Arts Hub (Norway). Bojana frequently collaborates with audiences excluded from cultural institutions, investigating what audience agency can mean institutionally. She thinks of migrancy as a method and art practice, not just a lived reality.

Yvonne McLellan is the Technology Enhanced Learning Co-ordinator for both WACI and Transitions here at RCS. She is also a music publisher.

Critically acclaimed musician Jamie Akers was hailed as ‘The great Scottish guitarist’ by Classical Guitar Magazine and, in a review from Gramophone, his playing was described as, ‘containing all the warmth, colour and expressive richness one could hope for.’

Lucy Allan is a piano accompanist for professional ballet and contemporary dance, specialising in improvisation.

Lorna has taught in some form or other for more than 20 years, in schools, masterclasses, summer courses, and at the RWCMD for more than a decade before moving back to Scotland, and teaching at the RCS where it all began.

Josh Armstrong is an interdisciplinary performance director, researcher and lecturer. His performance practice lies at the intersection of music + sonic arts, live art and choreographic practices. He is the Artistic Director of Objet-a Creative Studio.

Nicholas is currently a Principal Study Tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He is also an External Examiner for PhD/doctoral candidates at RCS for practice as research in piano performance.  He has acted as an Examiner for PhD in the areas of therapeutic applications of voice training (Edinburgh Napier) and vocal performance from a feminist perspective (Salford).

Nicholas also teaches students at the University of Edinburgh. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy/Advance HE (2018) and was a Teaching Fellow at Edinburgh Napier from 2018-20.

Jane Atkins is one of Britain’s most diverse violists with performances encompassing multiple genres including Baroque to Contemporary music, Dance and Jazz.

Dr Lev Atlas, who is currently principal viola at the Scottish Opera Orchestra and a senior lecturer in strings at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, completed his Phd research on Russian Chamber Music at the University of St Andrews and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2013.

Nicolas Baldeyrou is one of the most prominent clarinettists of his generation, invited to perform as soloist with such prestigious orchestras as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic, the Tokyo, Prague and Saint-Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestras, the Sofia Symphony Orchestra, the George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestre national d’Île-de-France, the Orchestre d’Auvergne and the Orchestre de Cannes-Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur. He is regularly invited to recitals at Carnegie Hall, in New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Cité de la Musique in Paris, the Cologne Philharmonic, the Salzburg Mozarteum, the Vienna Konzerthaus, the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels, the Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Tokyo, the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, as well as performing in China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Mexico.

Michael Barnett hails from Glasgow and is a double graduate in Music from Glasgow University. Since then, he has worked predominantly in Dance and is now the staff accompanist on the BA Modern Ballet course at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. As a freelancer, he plays regularly for Scottish Ballet and any visiting companies. Michael tutors the Mmus Piano for Dance students and coordinates the musicians playing for BA Modern Ballet, Junior Conservatoire and the Scottish Ballet Associates.
